Zindagi Gulzar Hai (Life is a Rose Garden) is a story about two classmates with very different origins, Kashaf and Zaroon. Kashaf is a middle-class girl with ordinary looks who has a lot of duties. She has a very unhappy life because of her financial conditions, which negatively impact her self-esteem. Zaroon is wealthy, a member of the elite class, and he exudes unwavering confidence in himself. Zaroon’s life is complete when he has a close-knit family that has adequate time for one another.
Their lives are irrevocably linked once they meet in college. ZGH follows these two characters as they come to love and respect each other after overcoming their initial antagonism. This novel was first published in the Khawateen Digest in episodic form.
About Author:
Umera Ahmed is one of the most well-known and widely read Urdu fiction writers of this generation for both novels and screenplays. She graduated from Murray College in Sialkot with a master’s degree in English literature. Later, she worked at Army Public College in Sialkot as an English language lecturer for O and A-level students. But a few years ago, she quit her work to give her writing her whole attention. She Started Writing at a Very Young Age in 1998. She is the author of approximately sixteen books, which include collections of short stories and whole novels. But Her Novel “Peer-E-Kaamil (S.A.W.W)” Was the One That Shaped Her Identity.
