غزل
یوں بھی اس رات میرے پاس سمے تھوڑا تھا
کام ایسا تھا کہ جلدی میں نہیں ہونا تھا
جتنے پیاسے تھے کھڑے دیکھ رہے تھے خالی
میں نے اٹھوا کے تیرے سر پہ گھڑا رکھا تھا
دوش اس میں تیرے حلیے کا ہے لوگوں کا نہیں
پہلے پہلے تجھے میں نے بھی غلط سمجھا تھا
گفتگو بعد میں ہوتی تھی تیرے بارے میں
پہلے پستول کو ٹیبل پہ رکھا جاتا تھا
تم بھی ہوتے تو یہ سونے پہ سہاگہ ہوتا
ان دنوں جیب میں جب میری بہت پیسہ تھا
اور تو کچھ نہیں اس بات کا دکھ ہے مجھ کو
میں نے اوروں کی طر ح تجھ کو نہیں برتا تھا

Kam aisa tha keh jaldi main nahi hona tha
Jitny piyaasy thy khady dekh rahy thy khali
Mainy uthwa ky tery sar py ghada rakha tha
Dosh is main tery huliee ka hy logon ka nahi
Pehly pehly tujhy main ny bhi ghalat samjha tha
Guftago baad main hoti thi tery baary main
Pehly pistool ko table py rakha jata tha
Tum bhi hoty to yeh sony py sohaga hota
Un dino jeeb main jab meri bohat peesa tha
Aor to kuch nahi is baat ka dukh hy mujh ko
Mainy aoron ki trhan tujh ko nahi barta tha
