غزل
میرے کمرے میں اک ایسی کھڑکی ہے
جو ان آنکھوں کے کھلنے پر کھلتی ہے
ایسے تیور دشمن کے ہی ہوتے ہیں
پتا کرو یہ لڑکی کس کی بیٹی ہے
رات کو اس جنگل میں رکنا ٹھیک نہیں
اس سے آگے تم لوگوں کی مرضی ہے
برسوں بعد بھی ویسے ہی سُندر ہے وہ
جانے کس چکی کا آٹا کھاتی ہے
جب تو شام کو گھر جائے تو پڑھ لینا
تیرے بستر پر اک چِٹھی چھوڑی ہے
اس کی خاطر گھر سے باہر ٹھہرا ہوں
ورنہ علم ہے چابی گیٹ پہ رکھی ہے
تُو تو اس کی باتیں ایسے کرتا ہے
دنیا جیسے تیرے گھر کی لونڈی ہے

Jo in aankhon ky khulny par khulti hy
Aisy taiwar dushman ky hi hoty hain
Pata karo yeh ladki kis ki beeti hy
Raat ko us jangal main rukna theek nahi
Is sy aagy tum logon ki marzi hy
Barsoo’n baad bhi wesy hi sundar hy woh
Jany kis chakki ka aata khati hy
Jab tu sham ko ghar jaye to padh lena
Tery bistar par ik chithi chodi hy
Us ki khatir ghar sy bahir thehra hon
Warna ilm hy chabi gate py rakhi hy
Tu to uski batain aisy karta hy
Dunya jesy tery ghar ki londi hy
