حسن مصروفِ ادا ہے کب سے
عشق آئینہ نما ہے کب سے
چارہ گر محوِ تغافل کیوں ہے؟
درد محرومِ دوا ہے کب سے
تم مرے کرب سے ناواقف ہو
روح میں حشر بپا ہے کب سے
کوئی جذبوں کا طلبگار نہیں
من کا بازار سجا ہے کب سے
آخری فیصلہ سننے کے لیے
منتظر کوئی کھڑا ہے کب سے
آنکھ بھر آئی تو معلوم ہوا
تو مرے دل میں بسا ہے کب سے
دشمنِ جاں کی بھلائی کے لئے
کوئی مشغولِ دعا ہے کب سے
اب تو جانا ہی پڑے گا فاتح
موت آغوش کشا ہے کب سے
