رات کے دریا کا کنارہ بھی کبھی آئے گا
وقت کا کیا ہے ہمارا بھی کبھی آئے گا
میرے حصے میں کبھی آیا تھا اچھا کوئی دن
پوچھنا تھا کہ دوبارہ بھی کبھی آئے گا
اس تسلی سے لگے جاتے ہیں دیوار کے ساتھ
تیری باہوں کا سہارا بھی کبھی آئے گا
چاہنے والوں کا جو قحط ہے امید تو ہے
اُس کی جانب سے اشارہ بھی کبھی آئے گا
میں ہی ہر بار بچھڑنے پہ بہت روتا ہوں
اُس ہتھیلی پہ انگارہ بھی کبھی آئے گا

Raat ky darya ka kinara bhi kabhi aye ga
Waqt ka kia hy hamara bhi kabhi aye ga
Mery hissy main kabhi aya tha acha koi din
Pochna tha keh dobara bhi kabhi aye ga
Is tassalli sy lagy jaty hain deewar ky sath
Teri bahon ka sahara bhi kabhi aye ga
Chahny walon ka jo qeht hy umeed to hy
Us ki janib sy ishara bhi kabhi aye ga
Main hi har baar bichadny py bohat rota hon
Us hatheeli py angara bhi kabhi aye ga
