غزل نمبر
گلاب ہونٹوں ، ستارا آنکھوں ، پری وَشوں کو سلام کہنا
دیارِ جاناں کو جانے والو ! جواں دلوں کو سلام کہنا
وہاں کی آب و ہوا منافق ، وہان کے دن رات ہیں مساعد
سروپ صبحوں ، شفیق شاموں ، رواں رتوں کو سلام کہنا
نکھار پاتا ہے جن کے دم سے نگارِ ہستی کاروئے زیبا
ادھر چلے ہو تو ان جیالے مجاہدوں کو سلام کہنا
وہ شہرِ خوباں ہے اس کے ہر پیکر ِ حسیں کی بلائیں لینا
نشیلے نغمات کو ، مدُھر مسکراہٹوں کو سلام کہنا
کسی کو میری غزل سنانا ، کسی سے سن لینا گیت فاتحِ
مری طرف سے رہِ وفا کے مسافروں کو سلام کہنا
