ہمارے آنے والے دن تو خواب میں بدل گئے
مگر جناب آپ کس حساب میں بدل گئے؟
وہ با حیا، حیا کے اُس مقام تک جا پہنچا
کہ اُ س کے نین نقش تک نقاب میں بدل گئے
وہ جنگ رُک گئی تو ٹینک رنگ پھینکنے لگے
کمان میں جو تیر تھے گُلاب میں بدل گئے
وہ میرے پاس سے اُٹھا تومیرا رزق اُٹھ گیا
دہن میں جو نوالے تھے لُعاب میں بدل گئے
نا جانے کس کے ہاتھ میں آ گیا نظامِ ابر و باد
ہمارے گاؤں کے کنوے شراب میں بدل گئے
جو شعر میں نے کاٹ کے رکھے تھے اک طرف
تیری نظر پڑی تو انتخاب میں بدل گئے
