بھُلا دیا تھا جس کو ایک شام یاد آ گیا
غزال دیکھ کر وہ خوش خرام یاد آ گیا
خُدا کا شکر ہے کہ سانس ٹوٹنے سے پیشتر
وہ شکل یاد آگئی وہ نام یاد آ گیا
وہ جس کی زلف آنچلوں کی چھاؤں کو ترس گئی
شبِ وصال اُس کو احترام یاد آ گیا
میں پچھلے دس برس سے تیرے دل میں گھر نہ کر سکا
تیری مزاحمت سے ویتنام یاد آگیا
میں آج تاپسی کی ایک فلم دیکھ کر ہٹا
تو مجھ کو ایک پُرانا انتقام یاد آگیا
