غزل
تمام خواہشیں پوری ہوں آب و دانہ ہو
اب اس میں دل نہیں لگتا نیا زمانہ ہو
کسی کی سالگرہ ہو کسی کی برسی پر
کسی کا نوحہ کسی اور کا ترانہ ہو
تمام گاؤں اکٹھا ہو اک سٹیشن پر
اور ایک شخص اُدھر شہر سے روانہ ہو
اُسی سے پوچھو شرائط کہ جس کے دریا ہیں
وہ کیا کرے کہ جسے کچھ نہ کچھ اُگانا ہو
کسی سے ملنے کی جلدی بھی ہو ہمیں ضوریز
اور ایک جلتا ہوا شہر بھی بچانا ہو

Tamam khahishain pori hon aab-o-dana ho
Ab is main dill nahi lagta naya zamana ho
Kisi ki saalgira ho kisi ki barsi par
Kisi ka noha kisi aor ka tarana ho
Tamam gaaon ikatha ho ik station par
Aor aik shaqs udhar shehr sy rawana ho
Usi sy pocho sharait keh jis ky darya hain
Woh kia kary keh jissy kuch na kuch ugana ho
Kisi sy milny ki jaldi bhi ho hamain ZORAIZ
Aor aik jalta hoa shehr bhi bachana ho
