The Story of the Shehr-E-Zaat Novel is revolving around the Falak, a gorgeous daydreamer and the only child of wealthy parents. Falak, a fine arts student, creates a sculpture of the man of her dreams, and when she sees Salman as the living embodiment of that fantasy, she falls madly in love. However, Falak grows more and more distant from Salman as he makes an effort to get to know her better before eventually giving in to her demands, but at what cost?
The story’s central theme is spiritual awakening. The Sufi ideas of ishq-e-haqeeqi, or human love for God, and ishq-e-majazi, or human love for another human, are contrasted sharply.
Khawateen Digest was the original publication of Shehr-e-Zaat. It was then collected and published as a book under the title Main Ne Khuwabon Ka Shajar Dekha Hai, together with five other unrelated stories. Additionally, it appeared in one of Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan’s early editions.

Shehr-E-Zaat Novel Overview:
In Shehr-E-Zaat Novel, Falak, a wealthy, attractive, and somewhat complicated girl, falls in love with Salman, a man who doesn’t think highly of her. She rejects her best friend Hamza, who is deeply in love with her, in order to wed Salman, who betrays her in favor of a girl who is far less attractive than she is in terms of appearance and all other relevant factors. This breaks Falak, who turns to religion and discovers that being near Allah is the genuine meaning of pleasure.
Alright, fair enough! Numerous tales based on the same idea have been told in the past. It is always about the individual not being able to find love and then coming across Allah.
Thanks to its novel basis, everyone, including myself, was familiar with the plot of Shehr e Zaat before it even appeared on screen.
I had goosebumps from the first promo, though, even with the face. The scene where Mahira goes mad in the mud is one of the most talked about ever. Curiosity was already high, but it reached new heights after the first episode.
