غزل
روح سے عشق کیا اور بدن چھوڑ دیا
میں نے انسان کا آبائی وطن چھوڑ دیا
وہ میرے ہاتھ میں تھا کچھ بھی میں کر سکتا تھا
میری خواہش پہ ہوئی حاوی تھکن چھوڑ دیا
مجھ سے کیا بچھڑا ہے وہ ایسے خبر پھیل گئی
جیسے جیا نے امیتاب بچن چھوڑ دیا
اُس نے یوں چھوڑ دی پائل کہ بہت بھاری ہے
اور پائل نے بھی اس دکھ میں چھنن چھوڑ دیا
خاک تُو شہد بنائے گی کہ رس لائی نہیں
خون چوس آئی مگر اُس کا بدن چھوڑ دیا
چل پڑی لے کے شکم میں وہ نشانی میری
ایک سُرخی کے لئے سارا متن چھوڑ دیا
