غزل
دن ڈھلا شام ہوئی چاند ستارے نکلے
تم نے وعدہ تو کیا گھر سے نہ پیارے نکلے
دوست جتنے تھے وہ دشمن مرے سارے نکلے
دم بھرا میرا طرفدار تمہارے نکلے
اور پھر اور ہیں اوروں کا گلہ کیا کرنا
ہم نے پرکھا جو تمہیں تم نہ ہمارے نکلے
غم و آلام کے ماروں کا بہت تھا چرچا
وہ بھی کم بخت ترے عشق کے مارے نکلے
وائے قسمت کی نہ راس آئی محبت ہم کو
ہائے تقدیر کہ وہ بھی نہ ہمارے نکلے
جیتے جی ہم نہ ہلے اپنے ٹھکانے سے نصیر
ان کے کوچے سے جنازے ہی ہمارے نکلے
