غزل
اُس ستم گر سے جس کی یاری ہے
اُس کی قسمت میں آہ و زاری ہے
بُنِ ہر مُو سے خون جاری ہے
دل پہ جو زخم ہے وہ کاری ہے
دل کو لاحق ہے غم انوکھا سا
آج کی رات سخت بھاری ہے
ہے دگر گوں مریض کا عالم
چارہ سازوں پہ یاس طاری ہے
دل ٹھہرتا نہیں گھڑی بھر کو
کس قیامت کی بے قراری ہے
دل اُڑا کر وہ پھر ملے نہ مجھے
یہ انوکھی وفا شعاری ہے
جان مانگے تو جان بھی حاضر
جان کیا جانِ جاں سے پیاری ہے؟
جلوے چلمن سے چھنتے رہتے ہیں
واہ کیا شانِ پر دا داری ہے
ہم بھی بیٹھیں گے تان کر سینہ
آج اس بت کی چاند ماری ہے
پھر وہی دل میں سے چُبھن پیدا
پھر وہی عزم شعلہ باری ہے
دل پہ الفت میں اختیار کسے
یہ تو اک امرِ اضطراری ہے
بعد مرنے کے لوگ ہیں آزاد
رستگاری ہی رستگاری ہے
بے نقاب آ گئے نصیر جو وہ
ساری محفل پہ وجد طاری ہے
