غزل
مجھ کو انسانوں سے ہمدردی ہے اُنسیت ہے
کیوں کہ اس دور میں بے چاروں کی اقلیت ہے
لوٹ آؤ میرے لوگو میرا دل پھٹ جائے گا
یومِ عاشور کی صورت کوئی کیفیت ہے
دیکھتا رہتا ہوں اُس چہرے کو خاموشی سے
سوچتا رہتا ہوں پھر جو میری حیثیت ہے
حسبِ معمول میں اُس کونے سے چُپ چاپ اُٹھا
رو نہ دیتا جو کوئی پوچھتا خیریت ہے
جی محبت کا بڑا نام سُنا ہے میں نے
کی نہیں ہے ابھی البتہ میری نیت ہے
کیسی آزادی اگر تیرے قوانین چلیں
پوچھ گُچھ کیسی اگر تن میری ملکیت ہے
میں تیڈے نال وڈے خواب ڈٹھے ہان وے جان
بین کرنے پہ تو معمولی کو اہمیت ہے
دل کی سُنتا ہوں میرا دین بھی دل دنیا بھی
دین و دنیا سے کنارا کشی جاہلیت ہے

Kion keh is door main be charon ki aqliat hy
Loot aao mery logo mera dill phat jaye ga
Youm-e-Ashoor ki sorat koi keefiat hy
Daikhta rehta hon us chehry ko khaamoshi sy
Sochta rehta hon phir jo meri heesiat hy
Hasb-e-Mamool main us kony sy chup chaap utha
Roo na deta jo koi pochta khairiat hy
G mohabbat ka bara naam suna hy mainy
Ki nahi hy abhi albatta meri niat hy
Kesi azadi agar tery qawaneen chalain
Poch guch kesi agar tan meri milkiat hy
Main tedy naal wady khaab dithy han wy jaan
Bain karny py to mamooli ko ehmiat hy
Dill ki sunta hon mera deen bhi dill dunya bhi
Deen-o-Dunya sy kinara kashi jehliat hy
