میں تم بن جی رہا ہوں اب
میں تم بن جہ رہا ہوں اب
میں جھوٹا تھا
مرے دعوے مری قسمیں
سبھی اصرار جھوٹے تھے
میں جھوٹا تھا کہ ہم اک روز وعدوں سے مکر جائیں
نہیں ممکن
میں جھوٹا تھا کہ تم بن ایک لمحہ بھی گُزر جائے
نہیں ممکن
مگر اب سوچتا ہوں کہ
ہمیں بچھڑے تو تم نے رسمِ الفت فاتحہ بھی پڑھ لیا ہوگا
ہمیں بچھڑے تو تم نے اب
کئی دس بیس گھڑیاں پہن کر بھی پھینک دی ہوں گی
مری باتوں پہ یارا وقت بھی شرمندہ تھا شاید
سنو جاناں ادھر دیکھو
میں تم بن جی رہا ہوں اب
محبت میں نہیں کرتا
مجھے اب اس سے نفرت ہے
یہ تم بھی جانتی ہو کہ
خُدا کو مانتا ہوں میں
خُدا بھی جانتا ہے کہ
مجھے تم سے عقیدت تھی
سنو تم سے مرا شکوہ ذرا سی بات کا ہے کہ
مکرنا تھا مکر جاتے
بچھڑنا تھا بچھڑ جاتے
مگر جاناں
ترے تو مختصر سے رابطے بھی یہ بتاتے تھے
بہت اُکتا گیا تھا تو
مجھ ہی سے تھک گیا تھا تو
چلو چھوڑو سبھی وعدے
سبھی قسمیں سبھی یادیں
مجھے اک بات سمجھا دو
مری تقدیر میں بس تم
فقط دو دن کے ساتھی تھے؟
سبھی یادیں مٹانی ہیں
سبھی رسمیں بھُلانی ہیں
تمہیں میں بھول جاؤں گا
فقط اتنا سا کہنا تھا
چلو آؤ یہ اُلفت ترک کرتے ہیں
سبھی کچھ ختم کرتے ہیں
یہ صحرا سرد کرتے ہیں
میں کافر ہوں سُنو جاناں
مجھے اب کفر کرنے دو
