La Hasil By Umera Ahmad hughlights the human desires, greed, and human pride. The word “hollow pursuit” is La Hasil. Umera Ahmed wrote the book with such grace and kept the readers interested till the end. The story of this novel revolves around two couples, Katherine and Mazhar are the first couple, while Umm E Mariam and Zul-eeid are the second. Katherine is a British national whose father was a follower of Islam. Ruth became depressed after Katherine’s father abandoned the family. Katherine is continuously depressed by Ruth’s repeated disparaging remarks about her husband. She never gave any sort of attention to Katherine. So, she becomes a call girl. After meeting Katherine, a Muslim boy named Mazhar gets to know her better and eventually falls in love. Mazhar weds Katherine, with whom he had a child. He left her and returned to Pakistan after knowing her past.
While on the other hand, Zul Eeid and Umm E Mariam make up the other tale. Umm E Mariam is an artist; she consistently creates unique drawings that attracts huge crowds. She comes from a poor family and is not happy with her situation, whereas Zul Eeid owns a textile company. He attended an art college and met Mariam while looking for an artist. They both began to feel something for one another, and after overcoming some challenging circumstances, they tied the knot.

She Started Writing at a Very Young Age in 1998. Her First Tales Were Featured in Monthly Urdu Digests Before Being Published As Books. She is the author of approximately sixteen books, which include collections of short stories and whole novels. But Her Novel “Peer-E-Kaamil (S.A.W.W)” Was the One That Shaped Her Identity.
