کچھ ایسے درد ہماری جوانیوں میں بٹے
ہنسی کو زور سے ہنس دیں تو سسکیوں میں بٹے
اکٹھے بیٹھ کے ہم نے شراب نوشی کی
خدا سے ملنے گئے تو نمازیوں میں بٹے
دھماکے والے نے رنگوں کا فرق مار دیا
تمام جسم فقط لال کرچیوں میں بٹے
کوئی خصوصی تو یہاں کوئی معزز ہے
ہمارے دور کے مہماں بھی ڈگریوں میں بٹے
ہم ایک ٹاٹ پہ اک ساتھ بیٹھ کر پڑھے تھے
وہ دور ختم ہوا اور کرسیوں میں بٹے

Hansi ko joor sy hans dain to siskion main baty
Akathy baith ky ham ny sharab nooshi ki
Khuda sy milny gaye to namazion main baty
Dhamaky waly ny rangon ka farq maar dia
Tamam jism faqat laal kirchion main baty
Koi khasoosi to yahan koi muaziz hy
Hamary door ky mehmaa’n bhi degreeon main baty
Ham aik taat py ik sath baith kar padhy thy
Woh door khatam hoa aor kursion main baty
