خود کو جینے کی تسلی میں بہانے نہیں دیتا
اب تیری یاد بھی آئے تو میں آنے نہیں دیتا
غم سے کہتا ہوں کہ آؤ تمہیں جانے نہیں دوں گا
اور وہ آ جائے تو پھر اس کو میں جانے نہیں دیتا
یہ تیرا ظرف ہے تُو لوٹ کے آیا ہی نہیں
یہ میرا ظرف ہے پھر بھی تجھے طعنے نہیں دیتا
میں بھی زخموں کی نمائش میں کھڑا ہوں لیکن
روح کے زخم کوئی مجھ کو دکھانے نہیں دیتا

Khud ko jeeny ki tasalli main bahany nahi deta
Ab teri yaad bhi aye to main aany nahi deta
Gham sy kehta hon keh aao tumhain jany nahi donga
Aor woh aajaye to phir usko main jany nahi deta
Yeh tera zarf hy tu loot ky aya hi nahi
Yeh mera zarf hy phir bhi tujhy jany nahi deta
Main bhi zakhmon ki numaish main khada hon lekin
Rooh ky zakham koi mujh ko dikhany nahi deta
