تم حقیقت نہیں ہو حسرت ہو
جو ملے خواب میں وہ دولت ہو
تم ہو خوشبو کہ خواب کی خوشبو
اور اتنے ہی بے مروت ہو
تم ہو پہلو میں پر قرار نہیں
یعنی ایسا ہے جیسے فرقت ہو
ہے میری آرزو کہ میرے سوا
تمہیں سب شاعروں سے وحشت ہو
کس طرح چھوڑ دوں تمہیں جاناں؟
تم میری زندگی کی عادت ہو
کس لئے دیکھتے ہو آئینہ
تم تو خود سے بھی خوبصورت ہو
داستاں ختم ہونے والی ہے
تم میری آ خری محبت ہو

Jo milly khuab main wo dolat ho
Tum ho khooshboo keh khuab ki khooshboo
Aor utny hi be murawat ho
Tum ho pehlo main par qarar nahi

Hy mery aarzoo keh mery siwa
Tumhain sab shayaron sy wehshat ho
