مجھے فرصت نہیں ملتی
میں جب ملنے کا کہتا ہوں وہ مجھ سے روٹھ جاتی ہے
اگر نہ رابطہ ہو تو بکھر کر ٹوٹ جاتی ہے
ادائیں قاتلانہ ہیں مجھے حیران کرتی ہیں
محبت مجھ سے کرتی ہے بیاں اوروں سے کرتی ہے
مجھے فرصت نہیں ملتی
میں اُس صحرا میں رہتا ہوں
جہاں یہ ہوش کی شمعیں کچھ ایسے ٹمٹماتی ہیں
کہ جیسے شام کی سُرخی دلوں میں ڈوب جاتی ہے
مجھے فرصت نہیں ملتی
میں اُن جنگلوں میں رہتا ہوں جہاں کے پیڑ گرتے ہیں
جہاں سے سب پرندے اُڑ کے صحراؤں میں پھرتے ہیں
جہاں کی ریت پاؤں کو کہیں ٹکنے نہیں دیتی
مجھے فرصت نہیں ملتی
میں اُس ساحل پہ رہتا ہوں
جہاں کی ریت کے ذرے کچھ ایسے جگمگاتے ہیں
مری آنکھوں کی بینائی کو ایسے خاک کرتے ہیں
کہ جیسے شب کو تارے بادلوں کے بیچ گھِر جائیں
وہ مجھ سے روٹھ جاتی تھی مجھے احساس ہوتا ہے
بکھر کر ٹوٹ جاتی تھی مجھے احساس ہوتا ہے
وہ لاکھوں شکوے کرتی تھی مگر میں ٹال دیتا تھا
وہ دریاؤں میں بہتی تھی مجھے رو کر یہ کہتی تھی
بچانے کیوں نہیں آتے
منانے کیوں نہیں آتے
