Umera Ahmed is one of the most well-known and widely read Urdu fiction writers of this generation for both novels and screenplays. She graduated from Murray College in Sialkot with a master’s degree in English literature. Later, she worked at Army Public College in Sialkot as an English language lecturer for O and A-level students. But a few years ago, she quit her work to give her writing her whole attention. She Started Writing at a Very Young Age in 1998. She is the author of approximately sixteen books, which include collections of short stories and whole novels. Main Plot of the Novel:
Momal is a bold university student. Her boldness and bravery make her incredibly difficult for boys to face. Her friends often force her to take risks, which can put her in danger. While, Asfand is an extremely attractive university student who wants to work in Pakistan’s civil service. Girls in universities aspire to be friends with him because of his intelligence and good looks.
One day she taunts him and slaps him in the university cafeteria, so he becomes extremely enraged. As a result, he kidnaps her and leaves her three days after raping her. She is powerless right now. She is not permitted to enter the house by her sisters-in-law. Her friends also ignore her. She is assisted and placed in a women’s hostel by her two friends, Rabe’a and Fatima, who are medical students.
Asfand feels bad about what he did and regrets it when Momal becomes pregnant. He gets married to her. Their life’s ups and downs are now beginning. She later gives birth to a daughter. They refer to her as Zashi.
