Baat Umar Bhar Ki Hai, “It’s the Matter of a Lifetime,” is a great illustration of various attitudes and how they affect people in various circumstances. It offers the reader a novel perspective on self-awareness. This novel was first published in the Monthly Khawateen digest but now it is available in Sahar Aik Ista’ara Hai.
The story of this novel is revolving around a mother and daughter named: Momina and Sumbal. Mother and daughter have the same problems but are very different personalities. Being the ugly duckling in a beautiful family, Momina has struggled with terrible inferiority complex her entire life. Her poor self-esteem severely overshadows her personality, allowing those around her to freely mistreat and humiliate her. Conversely, Sumbal is a prime example of intelligence, brilliance, and self-assurance. Despite having Momina’s physical characteristics, she accepts every challenge that comes her way and perseveres with dignity. It can now be found in Sahar Aik Ista’ara Hai, having first appeared in Khawateen digest.
Unfortunately, people’s complexion still causes problems. Those around them who never miss a chance to make fun of them are a big part of the issue. I hope we can overcome these biases.
