غزل
کون کہتا ہے فقط خوفِ ازل دیتا ہے
ظلم تو ظلم ہے ایمان بدل دیتا ہے
بے بسی مذہبی انسان بنا دیتی ہے
مان لیتے ہیں خُدا صبر کا پھل دیتا ہے
وہ بخیل آج بھی داتا ہے بھلے وقت نہ دے
میں اُسے یاد بھی کر لوں تو غزل دیتا ہے
اُس کی کوشش ہے کہ وہ اپنی کشش باقی رکھے
میرے جذبات مچلتے ہیں تو چل دیتا ہے
خالی برتن ہی کھنکتا ہے تبھی آدمی بھی
گھاس مت ڈالو تو اوقات اُگل دیتا ہے
ہم کو محنت سے ہی ملنا ہے اگر خُلد میں چین
یہ تو گھر بیٹھے بٹھائے ہمیں تھل دیتا ہے
ذہن میں اور کوئی دُکھ نہیں رکھتا افکار
جتنے بَل بندے کو وہ زلف کا بَل دیتا ہے

Kon kehta hy faqat khoof-e-ajal deta hy
Zulm to zulm hy imaan badal deta hy
Be basi mazhabi insan bana deti hy
Maan lety hain Khuda sabar ka phal deta hy
Wo bakheel aj bhi data hy bhaly waqat na dy
Main usy yaad bhi kar lon to ghazal deta hy
Us ki koshish hy keh wo apni kashish baqi rakhy
Mery jazbaat machalty hain to chal deta hy
Khali bartan hi khanakta hy tabhi aadmi bhi
Ghaas mat daalo to aoqat ugal deta hy
Ham ko mehnat sy hi milna hy agar khuld main chain
Yeh to ghar bethy bithaye hamain Thal deta hy
Zehn main aor koi dukh nahi rakhta Afkar
Jitny bal bandy ko wo zulf ka bal deta hy
