غزل
ہمیں بزرگوں نے تلقین کی اپیل کے ساتھ
کہ ساتھ رہنا تو رہنا کسی اصیل کے ساتھ
دلوں میں خوف بٹھانا تو بد معاشی ہے
دلوں میں بات بٹھاؤ کسی دلیل کے ساتھ
اب اُس مقام پر لا کر کھڑا کیا ہے اُسے
وہ میرے ساتھ چلے گی یا عزرائیلؑ کے ساتھ
میرا وکیل خُدا ہے سو مجھ سے مت الجھو
جو بات کرنی ہو کر لو میرے وکیل کے ساتھ
مجھے گلے سے لگا کر کسی کو روتا ہے
لگاتا پھول ہے لیکن پرانے کیل کے ساتھ
میں ایک رتی بھی جنت سے کم نہیں لوں گا
گُزارا کر کے میں آیا ہوں جس بخیل کے ساتھ
