غزل
ایک بد ذات کی چاہت کا اسیر آدمی تھا
ہنسی آتی ہے کہ میں کیسا فقیر آدمی تھا
جن کی میں پہلی محبت تھا وہ کہتے ہوں گے
اول اول جسے چاہا وہ اخیر آدمی تھا
کچھ بھی منوا لیا کرتا تھا وہ مجھ سے رو کر
دُکھتی رگ بھانپ گیا تھا بڑا پیر آدمی تھا
خود بلندی پہ مجھے لا کے گرانے والے
مجھ سے کیا دشمنی تھی میں تو فقیر آدمی تھا
کچھ نہ ہو تجھ کو، تجھے دیکھ کے ڈر جاتا ہوں
میں بھی اک دور میں تجھ جیسا شریر آدمی تھا
نہیں مجھے میرے نہ ہونے کا نہیں دکھ افکار
دُکھ تو یہ ہے کہ تیرے ساتھ حقیر آدمی تھا

Hansi aati hy keh main kesa faqeer admi tha
Jin ki main pehli mohabbat tha woh kehty hon gy
Awal awal jissy chaha wo akheer admi tha
Kuch bhi manwa lia karta tha wo mujh sy roo kar
Dukhti rag bhanp gia tha bada peer admi tha
Khud bulandi py mujhy laa ky girany waly
Mujh sy kia dushmani thi main to faqeer admi tha
Kuch na ho tujh ko tujhy dekh ky dar jata hon
Main bhi ik door main tujh jesa shareer admi tha
Nahi mujhy mery na hony ka nahi dukh Afkar
Dukh to ye hy keh tery sath haqeer admi tha
