جو عزت کے ڈر سے ڈر جائے
مت کرے عشق اپنے گھر جائے
بات آ جائے جب دعاؤں پر
اس سے بہتر ہے بندہ مر جائے
تھوڑی سی اور دیر سامنے رہ
میری آنکھوں کا پیٹ بھر جائے
بے بسی کی یہ آخری حد ہے
میری اولاد آپ پر جائے
اُس کے چہرے پہ آج اُداسی تھی
ہائے افکار علوی مر جائے

Jo izzat ky dar sy dar jaye
Mat kary ishq apny ghar jaye
Bat aajaye jab duaao’n par
Is sy behtar hy banda mar jaye
Thodi si aor dair samny reh
Meri aankho’n ka pait bhar jaye
Be bassi ki yeh akhri had hy
Meri aolad ap par jaye
Uss ky chehry py aj udaasi thi
